Christy brings over 29 years of paralegal and office manager experience to Jackson Law Firm, with a majority of her prior career focused on healthcare law. As a regional healthcare compliance manager, she oversaw compliance for more than 14 healthcare facilities in the long-term acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and skilled nursing settings. Now a recent retiree, Christy leverages her skills in compliance and organization to support the firm’s complex and ever-growing client file management systems.
Christy is an avid fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens teams and loves cooking, baking, and creating recipes from scratch. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends, and snuggling her fur babies.

Tiffany joined the Jackson Law Firm team in July 2024 having previously served as a legal assistant in the areas of bankruptcy, municipal government, and real estate. She excels in anticipating the needs of both the firm and its clients, and quickly transferred her existing skillset to support the firm’s trust administration, estate administration, and real estate departments. Tiffany brings a can-do attitude and loves organizing and developing processes in order to provide an exceptional client experience.
Outside of the office, Tiffany is a successful home business entrepreneur and professional dog breeder. She raises Bernese Mountain Dogs (a.k.a. Berners) on her farmette, along with chickens, roosters, ducks and lots of other critters. She enjoys spending her free time with family and friends, gambling, and watching movies.

Abigail (Abby) Pennell brings over 5 years of scheduling and front office management experience to the Jackson Law Firm team. She previously focused her career in the dental industry and transitioned seamlessly into the legal field, providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.
Abby was born and raised in Lancaster County and currently resides in Millersburg with her boyfriend and two cats. She is an avid reader of fantasy and mystery novels and loves to bake and travel for college football games.

Jen Larson Thompson joined the Jackson Law Firm team as Legal Analyst / Case Manager in October 2021. Jen earned her J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in May 2021 and plans to sit for the February 2022 Pennsylvania Bar. In addition to her law degree, Jen has bachelor's degrees from Indiana University in Psychology and Criminal Justice.
Prior to transitioning her focus to the law, Jen had a successful 10-year sales and marketing career in media and the private sector. As a result, she brings a consultative approach to assisting our clients with their needs. Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending time with her husband Rob, their chinchilla, cooking, running and attending live music events. Â

Since joining Jackson Law Firm in 2018, Aimee has become an integral member of our administrative and client services teams. Whether supporting internal operations or facilitating the details of a specific case, Aimee works closely with all members of the firm to ensure a seamless process for our clients. Additionally, Aimee serves as the executive assistant for Attorney Aaron Jackson.
Aimee has two children that keep her busy outside of work, along with her 90+ pound German Shephard! She is also a licensed stylist and enjoys helping her friends and loved ones look their very best for weddings, proms and other special events.

Ashley Shoemaker joined the Jackson Law Firm team in November 2021 as an administrative coordinator and was quickly promoted to Legal Assistant in February 2022. Her background in administrative work and her compassion for people allow her to excel in all aspects of client and staff service and support. Ashley provides administrative support to the firm’s managing attorney, associate attorney, and senior estates paralegal.
When she’s not at work, Ashley enjoys being with her two children, and spending time with family and friends. Whenever she has free time, you’ll find her with a paint brush in hand as she is also an artist.

Jessica Paden joined the Jackson Law Firm team in December 2019 as an administrative assistant. She quickly found a passion for the law and began her Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC). While mastering her Estates and Estate Planning coursework, Jessica became an integral part of the legal processes within the firm and was promoted to the position of Paralegal. She currently supports the firm’s estate administration and corporate services departments, specializing in entity formations and real estate transactions.
Prior to joining Jackson Law Firm, Jessica served in a variety of customer service-related positions fostering an unparalleled service-focused mindset. Jessica is committed to the client experience and ensures every interaction with the firm is welcoming, positive, and precise. She is a person you will be glad to have met.
When not working in and studying the law, Jessica enjoys spending time with her children, extended family, and friends. She also enjoys getting lost in a good book and has a passion for writing.

Julia M. Jackson serves as the CEO/COO for Jackson Law Firm, PLLC supporting the firm’s operations in the areas of finance and accounting, business development, office management and client relations. She also supports the firm’s business owner clients in the areas of human resource management and employee benefits.
Prior to joining Jackson Law Firm, PLLC in 2016, Julia served as the Deputy Director, Insurance Pool Operations for the County Commissioners Association of Pennsylvania (CCAP), and the Executive Director for the Society of County Human Resource Professionals of Pennsylvania (SCHRPP).
Julia is graduate of Liberty University with bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing Concentration. She is a licensed insurance producer in areas of Accident and Health, Life and Fixed Annuities.

While she has extensive experience with specialty trusts, estate planning and estate administration, Kristen has specialized her practice in the areas of business law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate counseling, and governance services.
Kristen earned her JD / MBA at Pepperdine University and her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Messiah College. She resides in Mechanicsburg with her family.

Aaron C. Jackson, Esq. is the founder of Jackson Law Firm, PLLC, a boutique law firm focusing exclusively on trust, estate and business planning services, including asset protection, tax planning and charitable planning. Additionally, Jackson Law Firm, PLLC provides business counsel and merger and acquisition services to its business owner clients.
Prior to founding Jackson Law Firm, PLLC, Aaron served as a shareholder for two premier Harrisburg law firms in their tax, estates and trusts practice groups. He has dedicated his career to serving the needs of clients in the Central Pennsylvania region and throughout the Commonwealth.

Carrie was born and raised in Central Pennsylvania. She has a working knowledge of the local real estate market and is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the Commonwealth of Pa. Before coming to Walters Appraisal Services, she was employed by Dunn & Bradstreet and Superior On-Line Information Services where she performed managerial duties along with being a quality approval editor.
She enjoys going to live music events, in particular hearing her husband, Darren, perform. She also enjoys spending time at home with Darren & their dog, being outdoors close to nature, bird/hawk watching, going on motorcycle rides, camping and similar activities.
